Finally, we would like to point out that we see no reason at this point in time to believe that there could be any short-term restrictions to our services. Dear customers, partners and service providers,
the altares GmbH & Co. KG closely observes and monitors current developments regarding the corona virus (SARS-CoV-2). Due to the "accumulation" of confirmed cases in Germany, and especially here in NRW, we have initiated preventive measures and established a crisis management team.
The aim is to be able to react quickly and effectively in the event of an immediate impact. Proactively, we have moved the majority of our teams to the home office, whereby compliance and security requirements in our organization are of course taken into account at all times, and only work at our locations in emergency staffing. In this way, we aim to reduce the risk of infection for each individual employee and, in the event of an acute case, prevent further employees from becoming infected. By dividing our locations, we are also geographically independent and have ensured that all functions can be performed from both sites.
Our business impact analyses also identified critical external service providers. For our operations, these are primarily the data centers with which we are in close contact. Our data center partners have also taken appropriate measures and adapted their emergency plans.

Employee situation
As before, none of our employees is affected by quarantine measures. The prophylactic decision to have most employees work in the home office significantly reduces the risk of infection. Overall, this leads to the assessment that we have no reason at this point in time to believe that there could be any short-term restrictions on our services in the operating business.
In order to minimize the risk of infection, we ask you to always give preference to telephone and video conferences and remote solutions when communicating with our employees.
Delivery situation
Our data centers report a dynamically changing situation in our supply chains. For example, there are delays in the procurement of hardware components. This could have an impact on the lead times for new projects. The procurement of spare parts under existing maintenance contracts has so far been trouble-free and there have been no warnings from manufacturers. Furthermore, the existing servers are all redundant and sufficient backup servers are available. Therefore, we do not see any major risks for ongoing operations at this time.
Stay healthy!
Many greetings,
Christian Ermisch
